We are a donor-funded volunteer-run library

Regular Hours:

Tuesday: 10am–5pm

Wednesday–Friday: 1pm–5pm

Saturday: 10am–1pm

Closed Sunday and Monday

Holidays Observed (Library Closed):

  • New Year’s Day (January 1st)

  • Martin Luther King, Jr., Day (third Monday in January)

  • Presidents’ Day (third Monday in February)

  • Memorial Day (last Monday in May)

  • Independence Day (July 4th)

  • Labor Day (first Monday in September)

  • Thanksgiving Day and the following day (fourth Thursday and Friday in November)

  • Christmas Day and the following day (December 25th and 26th)

Welcome to Templeton Library!

Templeton Library is your community hub for learning, discovery, and connection. We offer free library cards and access to a growing collection of over 15,000 items, along with free Wi-Fi, public computer stations, and printing services at just $0.25 per page. Stop by our in-library bookshop to find great reads at affordable prices.

Stay connected through our Home page for the latest news and updates, and visit our Events page to explore upcoming clubs, book groups, storytimes, and more. We also offer seasonal programs for children, including reading incentive programs and free supplies — plus convenient donation drop-boxes when available.

Policies and Procedures

Templeton Library provides a variety of services to meet the needs of all age groups. The library strives to provide excellent customer service. Our skilled volunteers are all background checked and ready to assist cardholders.

Book Donation Policy

We currently accept donations of most books in excellent condition, with a donation limit of two boxes or bags per household per week. We are especially grateful for bestsellers, hardbound books, and recent titles in almost-new condition. See our complete collection development policy below. Thank you!

Patron Code of Conduct

Templeton Library maintains an expected code of conduct for library patrons so that we may maintain an inclusive atmosphere. The detailed Code of Conduct is spelled out in our Policies & Procedures.
