Summer Reading Program 2026, "Stars, Stripes, and Stories" (Happy 250th birthday, USA!) runs June 9th to August 7th for kids ages 3-17. Read 100 minue a week for prizes and for chances to win grand prizes at our finale party on August 12th at 2pm.

Our summer reading program kicks off with a fun party! Join us Tuesday, June 9 at 10am and join our quest for the best stories in the universe!

We will have fun prizes again this year, and kids can earn them from June 9 to August 7!

Regular Children's Events

Preschool Storytime, Tuesdays 10am
Pokémon Club, every other Tuesday, 3–4pm
Art with Annie, every other Wednesday, 3–4pm
First Saturday Stories, first Saturday of each month, 10am (English) and 10:30am (bilingual English and Spanish)

Open to all area residents, Templeton Library offers free library cards, Wi-Fi, and public computers. Printing and copying services are available for 25 cents per page. Our collection spans over 15,000 items, including a dedicated children's area with resources for young readers of all ages.
